Holiday Extravaganzas!

Happy holidays, everyone! I hope everyone has been having a good break. I've had so much stuff going on lately and it's all been great. Two full weeks of "break" is great, but as one of my friends put it (check out her page here), teachers use it as an opportunity to load us with crap. I have had two huge projects, four finals to study for, and a few extra assignments. Yay!

For the entire first week, I procrastinated with everything. I pretty much just laid around with the occasional gymnastics practice. Then, I sort of got this sense of urgency (ohmygoshthesemesterendsinaweek) and got myself out of bed for reasons other than food, family, and gymnastics. Success!

I've finally gotten a hold on my schoolwork and am dreading school a little bit less than before. I've almost finished one project, am partway through another, and have studied for two of my tests. Besides that, Christmas and New Years were both really fun. Many of my relatives came who I haven't seen in a long time, and that was a nice added touch. Skiing and hanging out with them was definitely a highlight.

I've also made two flight reservations, rented a car, and booked two hotel rooms. Meet season is coming up- wait, no. Meet season is here and we've made travel plans for them in Seattle which is next week and Phoenix for the week after. I'm pretty scared and nervous but I loved competition traveling and I probably still do.
