Okay, so I'll awkwardly explain how my injury is going and hopefully by the time I finish, I'll have a real idea.
I went to physical therapy for the first time (for this injury) on Tuesday. She gave me a few exercises to do at home to try to get my range of motion better, and the swelling down. She gave me a pretty painful "massage" on my LCL and then I iced with an awesome high tech icing machine. Well, I mean, more high tech than a plastic bag of ice.
I've also been visiting the gym (nastics place) because I don't have much else to do, and it's weird to all of a sudden stop spending time with people who I've know most of my life. (Woah, déja vu.) I've also stopped tripping quite as much on my crutches which is a good-- Aha! An idea!
THE OLYMPICS!
Duh! The Olympics are the bomb! So here are the top 7 things about the Olympics this year. (7 because I feel like it.)
1. Opening Ceremonies. The opening ceremonies were pretty cool this year, and I loved how it all told a story, despite the fact that one ring didn't open. Oh well!
2. Women's Ski Jumping. WOOHOO! GO WOMEN! We're making history in Sochi because for the first time women can compete in ski jumping.
3. Moguls Freestyle. These competitions are so cool! Of course, I probably like them because they have flippy-twisty things!
4. Understanding sports. Oh yeah, I'm broadening my horizons by watching the Olympics. I now know what slope style is, and that hockey is an olympic sport! Go me!
5. PUPPIES!!!! Sounds random, right? Nope, because now there are stories all over the news on how athletes are trying to adopt the stray puppies and dogs. They're unbelievably cute, in case you haven't seen them, I will provide you with some 7-second entertainment. (Apparently 7 is today's number.)

7. Inspiration. If the Olympics doesn't inspire you, then I don't know what does. No matter what sport you're in, I'm pretty sure you can get motivated by watching the Olympic athletes do their thing.
