In my defense, I've been busy? The question mark isn't a typo, that's my own doubt seeping through into writing. But anyway, a lot has changed.
1) Hospital. I started volunteering at the hospital and I love it! I still don't have my shirt but I love talking to the patients, staff, and the other volunteers.
2)EHS. I started doing health and PE online. I got accepted pretty late which means that I have less of the summer to get the credit, even though that time can go into the school year. That doesn't make any sense in writing.
*An Annoying Interruption*
There's an ant crawling on my leg.
3) My weird obsession with country music. Ok, it's not so much an obsession but tolerance. I used to hate... nope, too strong.... dislike country music because my coach actually was obsessed with country, so we listened to it all the time. Now, because I have to listen to Disney songs at practice (explained later), I savor the moments that I get to listen to country, which is what Bryce puts on whenever he can. That or dubstep. I think you know our preference.
4) Scrubs. Hehehehehe, MWAHAHAHAHA! I am pleased (or embarrassed) to announce that I have actually finished every season of my favorite TV show. Oh yeah, for the third time. 😕 (Why my emoji not work?? Okay, be that way. Enjoy this lovely picture of a diamond!)
5) "The Distance Between Us". This isn't really a thing that has changed, but whatever. I finished this book, and I really like it! For those of you who don't go to Park City High, that is the book we were assigned for summer. Call me a nerd or bookworm, but it was really good, especially for school.
6) Wait! Another side note.
*A Thought That Crossed My Mind*
When the cursor is right next to a parenthesis, it is tangent to it. Random, right?
7) I'm going to a camp next week which is both exciting and scary. It's a medical camp at Berkeley, and I had to buy a bunch of professional clothing. (I love how of all the cool details I could have noted, I picked that one.) I'll try to blog about that, but I'm not sure how good the wifi is in the dorms or if I will even have time.
8) I chopped off my hair (10 inches). Not all of it, it's still long to a normal person, but very short to me.
Not a quality picture, but you get the point. :):) |
Oh yeah, the Disney music. Optionals work out at the same time the Black Diamond Camp, for kids around 8-10 years old, goes on. So we play disney radio on Pandora for the entire five hours. We've come up with a game to name the movie the song comes from. Whoever gets it first gets a point, but we don't really keep score. Today, Moe was vaulting and "For the First Time in Forever"came on. She screamed "FROZEN!" at the top of her lungs and, being distracted, proceeded to run straight into the vault table full speed. It. Was. hysterical.
10) Look! I started blogging again!
